First Aid Training for Parents of Teenagers – a Randomized Controlled Trial (First Aid TPOT)
Welcome to First Aid TPOT, which offers FREE training to parents in Victoria who have a teenager aged between 12-15 years.
The training is aimed at helping parents recognize and respond to emerging mental disorders or physical health problems in teenagers.
FREE training will be offered to parents in either:
- a 14-hour Youth Mental Health First Aid training course
OR
- a 15-hour HLTFA301C Apply First Aid (Apply First Aid) Australian Red Cross training course (previously known as HLTFA301B)
A computer will randomly place parents into ONE of those courses.
